They are attached with heavy galvanized metal screw pilings.

Helical piles can be installed more quickly and quietly with less vibration using the appropriate equipment. Large galvanized brackets attach them to the foundation and they are drilled deep into the ground.

Beam and base underpinning, or the third foundation underpinning technique is also known. To achieve this, a large reinforced-concrete beam is installed under existing concrete pilings in order to transfer load.

Helical piles are screwed down until they reach soil stable enough to carry the structural load.

After bolting the large steel brackets to the foundation, it is possible to prevent further movement. Helical piles provide the most cost effective alternative method to stabilize or repair foundations.

Helical pilings or screw piles can be used for foundation underpinning. Screw pilings are embedded in soil under the foundation. At different depths they are installed until a stable ground is achieved.

Next, these galvanized screw pilings will be attached to the foundation. Helical piles provide many advantages to wooden pilings. Installing them quickly and quietly is possible with the appropriate equipment.
